this little advent christmas village is so special to me because I have this grand plan that as the kids get older and are able to participate in advent a bit more, that we will put a jesse tree ornament in each house and every day they will be able to take out the ornament, place it on the tree, and read our jesse tree devotional together as a family.
now, my kids are 1 and 2 years old, so this grand plan has yet to come to fruition.
however, I am setting the scene!
I ended up using these JESSE TREE ORNAMENTS along with the devotional.
though I did end up rewriting a lot of it because I liked some parts and not others. ya know?! :p
you can print out the ornaments and let the kids color them, or not!
I ended up mod podging mine to some wood rounds and then tying them with twine.
see below for all of the supplies I used to make this advent christmas village!!
also check out my youtube channel to see how I pieced it all together <3

ADVENT CHRISTMAS VILLAGE SUPPLIES :
NORFOLK PINE GARLAND
I bought two, in order for it to run the entire length of our table
okay, full vission here would be for my daughter and I to decorate one of these paper mache houses together every year until we have 25 houses in our advent christmas village.
but until that day comes, I bought some mini gingerbread houses as placeholders.
these houses are perfect for putting our jesse tree ornaments in!
I just used some assorted ribbon that I had lying around the house to tie them with.
I only used the green trees from this assortment in my village.
tuck it in sporadically along the bends of the garland.
